"We have had Briggs and Riley luggages for years and decided to buy new ones this year. The purchase was done on-line and therefore we did not get to see the medium expandable spinner before having it delivered. It was used for a four day trip and I was very disappointed in the design. The large space in front of the suitcase removes it from inside and when you place items in that pocket, those are not only not well protected but you can't lock it and it makes the front of the suitcase bulky. And the space inside the suitcase is large but not much space in the zipped up areas. We were going to get the same set for my husband, but will not purchase this model again."

"So far so good. I just used this medium suitcase for a 3 week trip to Italy and I had plenty of space. The underseat duffle fit nicely on the top of this. I have used the duffel with the 22” carryon and it tends to slip all over. I debated on whether to get this medium, which is less expensive, than the medium baseline with the garment hanger. I’m glad I went with this as I don’t find the garment hanger on my carryon to be of much use. And this medium was a better price!"

"I don’t know how the Briggs & Riley designers manage to create such efficiency and functionality in a piece of luggage, but they certainly do it, and do it well. "Finally after 30 years of wear and tear on my Tumi suitcase, I replaced it with the Briggs ZDX Medium Expandable Spinner. I went with the Briggs over the Tumi because I liked the fact that it was a little simpler. The Tumi had too many extras I wasn't going to use. I've learned to used cubes over the past few years which work well for packing this suitcase. My only complaint is if you need to carry it up or down steps (I do because I live on a hill), it is a bit awkward because the wheels get in the way. Otherwise very happy with the purchase."
