Second time we’ve bought this wonderful suitcase!

"I bought this 22 inch carry-on size suitcase a couple years ago. It is so excellent in all respects! It’s sturdy, attractive looking, well designed and fits in the overhead compartments of most aircraft. My wife was envious, so I bought her the same thing in a different color."

Million miles

"I have a very busy travel schedule and my older Briggs and Riley bags with thousands of miles on it just got a bit heavy for me plus it was an older two wheeler. I decided to look for something a little lighter and that I could roll down the center isle to my seat before putting in the overhead. The Essential 22 “ carry on was the perfect choice. Although I wish Briggs and Riley kept their bags the same as my old faithful because that bag has everything you want in a bag !! This new bag will work and will fit for my work trips. It rolls very nicely and fits 4 days of clothing. The plus is it’s lighter! Easy to get in the overhead."

Best Carry-On

"Who could ask for a better built and versatile carry-on bag. The warranty is worth it for us frequent travelers. Haven't had anything but Briggs and Riley since my first purchase."

— Brent F. (5/5)

Great Product

"Nice product. It made it through six flights and still looks brand new. Carry-on is spacious inside and I could get a lot in it, especially by rolling clothes and using packing cubes."

Pilot Friendly ZDX 22 Carry On

"Chose the ZDX because the baseline essential has the garmet hook, which I would barely use. I’ve got to say I’m glad I chose the ZDX Carry On 22 Inch. This piece of luggage has exceeded all expectations in looks, weight, size, and storage. I can fit two carry on compact cubes, a small compact cube, a toiletry bag, a pair of size 13 shoes and sandals all without using the expansion zipper. Will recommend this to anyone looking for a new carry on. Only thing that could improve this bag is a tsa lock built into the luggage like the hardside."

This is the perfect size

"This is the perfect size to carry on. Well made and moves around so smoothly."

Carry on and Check Luggage

"Purchased the essential 22 inch and 26 inch luggage. The only thing that I did not think was appropriate was the solid, non-ballistic material on the front right side. It gets scuffed rather easily, making for cosmetically unacceptable front."

— Keith C. (4/5)

Pilot approved

"Made the switch from the other popular pilot bags and I’ll never go back. Great storage, lighter and far more comfortable for everyday use. No more J-Hooks and sore shoulders. Way easier on escalators and in airport trains and trams."

— Daniel C. (5/5)

We are so happy with

"We are so happy with our new essential 22" carry-on. The wheels seem sturdy and so far easy to handle while walking the long concourses. Hope it last for many years."

— Marcela M. (5/5)

It’s Handsome, It’s Convenient, It Fits In A Plane’s Overhead Bin

"Whomever was involved in its design was tremendously talented. I recently purchased this one and have put it through a few big travel-tests. It’s durable, solid, looks great, and has plenty of places to put stuff that makes it fun to use and try “and discover”. Really well done. It’s ‘top notch’ - with one of the most important attributes that I’m able to roll it along well when in transit on sidewalks & on to/off of busses, on to streetcars, & on to other forms of transport. It just seems “to work & perform”. Well worth the monies paid for it."

Q&A

Hi, does the ZDX 22 inch have enough room for a laptop in the front exterior pocket? Thank you.: Good Afternoon Jennifer. Thank you for contacting Briggs & Riley. While a laptop may physically fit inside the front exterior pocket, we would not recommend storing it there. The front pocket is not designed with the additional padding and protection needed to safely secure a laptop during travel.
