Disappointed at zipper closure workmanship

"I was really looking forward to receiving this suitcase. We had a family special occasion – my granddaughter‘s wedding – and I thought it would be perfect for the occasion. Imagine my disappointment with one of the details that I expected to be high-quality. The location where the zipper closes – the main zipper – This closure isn’t right – it bulges and is not a smooth closure. I was actually shocked at the poor workmanship of this closure. In retrospect, I wish I had just sent it back, that’s not what I did. Instead, I went ahead and used it for my travel for my granddaughter’s wedding."

Almost perfect, except

"I have had B&R luggage for almost 20 years. This is my 3rd set. The first was great for the business traveling I did, but I needed something lighter in weight for leisure travels. My second set I used for12 years. It held up well, though getting a little worn; however, I wanted to upgrade to 4-wheelers. This one is almost exactly what I was looking for, I especially like that it is expandable. One downside is that the exterior pocket is not padded for a laptop, like the previous one were."

"I have been using a variety of carry-on bags over the last few years but I haven't been happy with any of them. But I knew what I didn't like about those bags so I went looking for a bag that had everything I needed. This bag fits the bill! My key items were: 4 wheels, soft sided, no clam-shell opening since i often don't fully unpack on short trips and don't want a large footprint in the room for my bag, acceptable for most/all airlines, ability to expand, and lots of pockets for easy access. I hope that it lasts a very long time."

While a laptop may physically fit inside the front exterior pocket, we would not recommend storing it there. The front pocket is not designed with the additional padding and protection needed to safely secure a laptop during travel.
