Great bag

"I am in construction and travel often to visit jobsites. This bag has been great for me. With the garment carrier has been great because in addition to reducing wrinkles I can keep my clothes separate from my hardhat and work boots. The bag rolls well and fits easily in the overhead bin, and the compression feature has been helpful when I'm trying to fit toiletries and non-hanging clothes around the hardhat and boots."

Wonderful but heavy!

"Very nice, but. . . . VERY heavy even empty. Sigh. Beautiful suitcase and oh so well engineered. I still love it, but need to start weight training to even get close to getting it in the overhead bin myself. Luckily the flight attendant was cheerful and helpful. She did say "OOooooo. . . . how do you like your Briggs and Riley?" She admired it. So do I."

"So far, 4 weeks of weekly use, it is a beautiful bag. The press down compression is less exciting then I thought. It pops right back up. But the bag is deceiving. It is small and yet big. I use it for my 3-4 day trips and use my medium check B&R matching bag for 5+ days or winter travel. I use a cover to stop the wear from the baggage handlers as much as possible. One of my favorite parts is the garment feature. Perfect for the business traveler like me."

A FANTASTIC piece of travel gear.

"This is an outstanding piece of travel gear. Truly great. As I get older and continue to rack up travel miles, I am more and more about eliminating friction. This case helps with that in a huge way. It is not only well made, it is well conceived. The separate compartment for hanging garments is genius. The ability to expand for packing and then compress for travel is equally inspired. And the wheels are the cherry on top. They are so much smoother rolling than the bag this bag replaced that it's less like I'm pulling it and more like it is simply following me. I can't recommend this case strongly enough. Stop thinking about it and just buy it. You'll thank me."

Should have bought years ago!

"I travel at least two weeks of month if not more. I have tried several brands of suitcases and backpacks. It warnt until my started having back issues that I considered the splurge on Briggs & Riley, specifically because of its J Hook strap system that conveniently attaches to this luggage. I purchased the briefcase as well, giving up carrying a backpack on my luggage or shoulder. It’s so worth it! To not have the weight of a backpack sitting on top of a carry on is fantastic. I thought their patented compression system wouldn’t be as good as it sounds but it is. I have packed a week’s worth of winter clothes in my suitcase, closed it, pushed it down as instructed, and could still get it in the overhead of a regional carrier. Other brands that “expand” I cannot do this with. Highly recommend."
