"Heavy carryon, well built, compression tech is a game changer. Watch YouTube for packing videos to truly maximize the features of this carryon. The wheels feels a bit flimsy and I wouldn’t be surprised if a new telescopic handle is required within the next 12 months. The blue color scheme is the ultimate flex. I can tell you, there are quite a few black B&R essentials on each flight."

Quality on wheels

"I bought for my husband a navy blue version of the red 56cm Carryon Expandable suitcase that I had bought years and years ago. It looks very smart, has some new features that strengthen as well as improve the look of the case. The case arrived very promplty as promised and has already been used for two trips and another coming up."

Beautiful AND functional

"As a flight attendant, I need luggage that is durable and practical. This is my first Briggs and Riley and I am in LOVE. Not only is it beautiful, but the features and ease of use is better than my other popular brand. I go from private to commercial and this piece of luggage is perfect size and the color is outstanding. I am already looking at replacing my personal bag but I will wait until my color plum, comes out with one so I can have a matching set. Briggs and Riley, you're just classy and functional."

Should have bought years ago!

"I travel at least two weeks of month if not more. I have tried several brands of suitcases and backpacks. It warnt until my started having back issues that I considered the splurge on Briggs & Riley, specifically because of its J Hook strap system that conveniently attaches to this luggage. I purchased the briefcase as well, giving up carrying a backpack on my luggage or shoulder. It’s so worth it! To not have the weight of a backpack sitting on top of a carry on is fantastic. I thought their patented compression system wouldn’t be as good as it sounds but it is. I have packed a week’s worth of winter clothes in my suitcase, closed it, pushed it down as instructed, and could still get it in the overhead of a regional carrier. Other brands that “expand” I cannot do this with. Highly recommend."

First class

"First class bag as are all The Briggs & Riley expandable bags we own. This medium bag has worked well for our travels. We have used the large expandable spinner in the past and decided to downsize. This bag is excellent quality and 2 of us can pack for a week to 10 days. Easy to move, handle at convenient heights, and packing features and zippers easy to use. Highly recommended!"

Organization, Style and Durability

"This is the second Briggs carry-on I've purchased. The only reason I replaced the former is a desire to go to 4 wheels from 2, a reflection of the changing "technology" in carry-on design. My first Briggs carry-on has made countless flights both domestic and international and never failed me including trips to interior Africa where baggage handling is akin to roller derby."

It's beautiful

"I'm a long time Briggs & Riley user and when replacing my 22" case I didn't consider any other label. I have an 18" case that is at least 20 years old and still looks brand new - I do not check it. My old 22" case is still in good shape, but I could not resist getting a new plum suitcase!"
